I’ve spent most of my career designing and supporting internet service for residences and businesses. I’ve been working in the internet service industry since I was in my late teens and it’s been a very interesting progression. In recent years, I became a telecom sales engineer focused on supporting and growing large and complex networks for healthcare, banking, and retail.

I spent most of the past 10 years working on completing my post-secondary education path. In 2016, I started back at college as an adult undergraduate at the University of Maine at Augusta. The cybersecurity program there taught me a lot and so I continued my education at Tufts University and The Fletcher School in 2022.

For fun, though, I have danced (tap, hip hop, and modern), play Dungeons and Dragons, and travel (among other things). Dance is my relief from long hours in front of a computer and I keep coming back to it. I’m sure I’ll be dancing into my retirement, with breaks here and there (I’m on a break right now).

I also enjoy cooking and I love collecting recipes, so likely there will be plenty of recipes shared here. They will live in their own category. I’m hoping to adapt a template that will let me use Cooking for Engineers layout.
